Welcome to Creo Artists!

We are a Christian mixed arts group, offering small-scale performances within the Fraser Valley area of British Columbia.

Creo Artists is a group of young dancers dedicated to using their art for the glory of God. We are excited to bring full length productions featuring dance, music, and spoken word to venues across Canada. Past productions include The Christmas Chest, Holy Night, Through the Wardrobe, and our Easter production, Risen.

Christmas Tour Audition

June 6, 2025 from 4:00 - 5:30 at Loft Studios

This is a unique opportunity to take part in a full-length ballet production. Students will receive coaching in classical ballet, performance technique, and how to use these gifts within the context of faith and evangelism. They will also learn many aspects of staging, costume design, tour organization, teamwork, and outreach.

Rehearsal dates: Every Friday (3:45 - 7:00 PM) from September 5 - November 21, 2025

Performance dates: Weekends November 28 - December 14, 2025

How Did We Start?

Carolyn Currey, artistic director of Creo Artists, has danced for twenty-eight years and toured professionally since 2008. Her production work with 1:11 Ministries has appeared on 100 Huntley St., the 700 Club, and stages across Canada and around the world.

As a dancer, teacher, and author, her heart is to spread the good news of Jesus Christ through the arts.

Prior to her move to British Columbia, she led teams of dance students in tours throughout southern Ontario. She looks forward to bringing the same opportunities to dancers in the Lower Mainland of BC!
